WELCOME!!! Riposto is a marine town at the base of the volcano Etna, situated between Catania and Taormina, and owns a new Tourist Port. In this town in March 2003, into the site in Via Archimede 69, we got the idea. Now it is a reality!!! “Un’idea, un concetto, un’idea finché resta un’idea è soltanto un’astrazione…” (Giorgio Gaber). "If you don't know where to go, turn back to watch from where you came" (ancient Indian proverb). We love our cultural roots and we wish to dig in the sicilian popular patrimony for spreading the artistic traditions and the values that are in their basis. Our club publishes a newspaper every month spreaded in all the towns near Catania. It organizes exclusively the exhibitions for the great story teller Orazio Strano (Riposto 1904-1981) It periodically organizes social cultural shows, cultural trips, thematic visits to the theatre of the "Opera dei Pupi" and festivity parties. |
